Meet the Team

We are very proud of our exceptional team at Rising Fives. Our team have over 77 years’ experience working in childcare. All of our staff are qualified to NVQIII and each holds a First Aid certificate and safeguarding qualifications.

Lyn Meyrick

Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead and Health and Safety Lead

Lyn has worked at Rising Fives since October 2019 and has a NNEB Diploma in Nursery Nursing as well as Advanced Safeguarding and Designated Lead and Designated Health and Safety Officer.

Rachel Abbott

Office Manager

Rachel has been at Rising Fives since October 2007 and has a AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting

Lisa Etherington

Early Years Practitioner and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Lisa has been at Rising Fives since October 2017 and has a Edexcel Level 3 National Diploma in Early Years.

Katie Horton

Early Years Practitioner and SENcO

Katie has been at Rising Fives since November 2023 and has a NCFE Cache Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce.

Grace has been at Rising Fives since September 2023 and is has a NCFE Cache Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years
